Your Path, Your Music
Your Recommended Path in the Imagine Music Lab
Thank you for taking the Imagine Music Lab assessment.
Your responses help us recommend the best next step for you—and they directly shape how the lab evolves.
Based on your results, the Imagine Music Lab may not be the best fit for your goals right now.
Why This Might Not Be the Right Match (Yet)
The Imagine Music Lab is designed for musicians who want to build long-term musicianship—not just prepare one or two pieces for a specific event or short-term outcome.
Our focus is on:
- Developing musical understanding
- Building versatility across styles
- Growing confidence at the instrument
- Creating a lasting repertoire
- Strengthening listening, harmony, and creative instincts
We’ve seen time and time again that this approach leads to musicians who can sit down and actually play—comfortably, expressively, and in many musical situations.
If your current goal is more narrowly focused (for example, learning a single song for an event or achieving a short-term milestone), there may be other teachers, tutorials, or resources better suited to that need right now.
A Door That Stays Open
That said, musical goals change—and so do musicians.
If at some point you decide you want to:
-
Play more freely
-
Understand music more deeply
-
Build confidence beyond memorization
-
Develop skills that last a lifetime
The Imagine Music Lab will be here.

What You Can Do Next
In the meantime:
-
Online tutorials can be a great resource for short-term goals
-
Private instructors may be able to help you prepare specific pieces or events
And if your goals shift toward broader musicianship, community-based learning, and creative growth—we’d love to welcome you then.
Thank you again for taking the assessment, and we wish you the very best on your musical journey.
