The focus is not on presets or shortcuts—it’s on developing your ears, your taste, and your decision-making so your productions sound like you.

What You’ll Need

You’ll need access to a DAW to participate.
A free option like GarageBand is perfectly fine to start.

If you’re unsure which DAW is the best fit for your goals, you’re encouraged to:

• Observe the first few sessions
  
  
• Talk with other members
  
  
• Learn how different tools support different creative workflows
  
  

The goal isn’t to rush the decision—it’s to choose tools that support your artistic direction.

How the Class Works

This session is equal parts:

Members of the Music Production class:

• Release original music across a wide range of genres
  
  
• Actively develop their own artistic projects
  
  
• Participate in group challenges designed to stretch skills and perspectives
  
  
• Collaborate with artists navigating different musical languages and communities
  
  

You’ll be encouraged to refine ideas, take creative risks, and turn unfinished concepts into fully realized songs.
